- Open with the proper DOCTYPE & Namespace

<title>XHTML Rules</title> - Quote all attribute values
src=”xyz.png” and not src=xyz.png - Close all tags
<p>Some Text</p> - Close “empty” tags, too
<img src=”xyz.png” />
