YouTube API :: Get the video download URL using the YouTube API

This class can be used to retrieve YouTube video details using the YouTube API. It accesses the YouTube GData API Web server and issues a request retrieve information about videos that match a given keyword.
The class retrieves all the details of the matching videos like: titles, video URL for download in Flash or 3GPP (for mobile) formats and video thumbnail image URL.

Try searching the same keywords in youtube.com if it does not says “NO RESULTS FOUND” then lemme know the keyword… with patch the code

nice API. But it gives empty result for a certain keywords. For example “baba rafi” or “samsungmobilepc”, even though the results come out if we do the searching on youtube website. Can you fix that please?

You totaly forgot the main one here:

It knows all native YouTube video formats: HD, MP4, FLV, 3GP videos, multiple simultaneous downloads, preview video, auto start download, skip already downloaded files, clipboard monitoring, drag & drop from IE / Firefox, proxy support, etc. Program size only 39Kb!!

I use it a lot!

On public demand…Class updated

Now this class gives 4 thumbnails per video The updated method is “getThumbnailUrl()”

hi;

I have downloaded the the latest version of the Rochak Chauhan-YouTubeAPI . it works great , but Im not able to place the thumbnail of the video on the page . any a=help will be appreciated. or may be you can update the class on phpclasses.org.

I Can’t get Thumbnail images a few months ago.
